Funkykit man Mark from HOS picked me out as one of the first winners for the banner candy and I`m thrilled to bits!! I received SPORTY in the post yesterday morning and will now get down to trying out some cards with him.
Sorry haven`t been around much lately as I`ve benn busy trying to get wedding invites finished and hopefully out this weekend.
Not much crafting going to happen today or tomorrow as we are off to Craigellachie to visit our dear friends Val & Royston. Don`t see them as much as we would like but looking forward to catching up with them this weekend.

Week 7 Fiona`s Challenge for us over on SCS Sugar Nellie Forum

I wonder what makes you think I LURVEEE...... Rock Boy! LOL!!
Well just had to use him for two other birthdays that fell this weekend and thought I`d also incorperate them along with the challenge from splitcoast stampers care of FIONA. So once again Fiona thanks for setting the challenge, what would we do with out you!!
The card on the left is for my nephew Scott who is 19 yrs old today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCOTT!! The other one is for Fiona`s son Adam who was 8yrs old yesterday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADAM!! Looking forward to seeing all of your cards over on SPS. Good luck to you all

My First set of jewellery

Went to my first ever jewellery class on Thursday night at the Craft Hoose & I thoroughly enjoyed it. The class was taken by Mairie who now runs the Craft Hoose. Jewellery is her passion but us cardies are trying to convert her as much as she is trying to convert us to beads`n`things!!.
The 2hrs just flew by and I can`t wait until this Thursday for the next one. My partners in crime were also at the class, Fiona & Jane and we had a ball!

Monday`s Craft Class at the CRAFT HOOSE

Used my own inks,DST and pinplair glue from stash, bling from class

Playing with my new Mangas

Another Birthday card. This one is for my nephew David who will be 21 tomorrow. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID!!! I was fed up with the usual 21st birthday cards and thought Rocker Boy was just perfect.
Had been at a craft class on Monday night where we had to do a card that was shall we say not symetrical?? Fiona was there that night too and to say we were out of our comfort zone once again was an under statement!! Poor Fiona was sat there quivering and sitting on her hands stating I can`t do this!!! Once she`d made the dreaded cut and showed it to Yvonne who was taking the class, Yvonne grabbed it and made a bigger cut in it! Well we were rolling about laughing by this point but in the end I for one was very pleased with the result. Anyway I degress, as you can see I adapted the same cut for the birthday card as I thought it lent itself to the theme
For this card I used card stock from my stash.
Found a picture of a guitar on GOOGLE and traced round shapes in different coloured card, silver peel offs were used for the strings of the guitar & wording was cut very kindly by Fiona on her Cricut. DST & Pinflair glue from stash. Manga Rocker Boy Sugar nellie stamp was coloured in using promarker pens

Sorry I have been around much these past couple of weeks. I`m just back from Bristol from a lovely visit to my old neighbours and good friends who moved back down there in November last year. We had a great time with lots of chat and giggles. Carol is also a crafter so there was some card ect floating about while I was there!! On Bank holiday Monday Elly a fellow crafter`s Companion forum member popped over from Swindon for a visit and we spent a lovely day having lunch and chatting. Oh where oh where does the time go when your having fun!!

Got a couple of photos of Elly Carol & I together as a lovely reminder of our day together.
Have been doing a few cards since I got home and also my card for the sugar nellie challenge on splitcoast stampers. Once I get them on camera I wil be back to post them.
Right off to meet Fiona & Jane for coffee this morning so better get a move on!!!
