Thought I would enter this into a challenge.

Good morning everyone!!

Well I`m off to Montrose this morning with Fionahttp://fionajcardsandmore.blogspot.com/ Adam, her eldest son is competing in a junior taikwondo competion. Before I left for the day I thought I would share this card I am entering into the Saturday Challenge over at http://thesecretcraftersaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/. This one was my first attempt at using the Letraset Aqua Markers. I just have the basic set so far but hope to add to this as I love them just as much as my promarkers and it gets me back to some watercolouring. The images I have used are From Jenny Mayes, Hobby Arts, some of the Winter Scene It set. Card from my card stock as is Ribbon. Quote from Scene it set of Christmas quotes. quicky6 glue pen and glamour dust were used to make it look frosty and wintry. Brrrrr....!!! DST also from stash. I hope you like my take on Jenny`s stamped images.

A quiet Day at the 1st Association Buchan Crafters at Banff.

Having a relax this evening after a manic week trying to get everything organised for todays craft fair. Thanks to Janes help, finishing off a few bits and pieces and bagging up of my crafty things, we managed to get all our gear ready for an early start at Banff.

Stayed with Jane last night so once everything was orgainsed for the off in the morning , we sat and had a chin wag and a lovely cup of well earned coffee before bed. All round, for all the crafters that were there today, it was a rather quiet one. Jane did very well and sold 4 of her jewellery pieces. Me, well sadly it was just one card but as we say swings and round-a-bouts. Lots were interested and thinking about chrissie presents and lots gave us very lovely comments on cards, jewellery & our candles but sadly not a lot of sales. Even out and about in Banff it was really quiet!! Anyhow, I really enjoyed my day and we both met some other lovely crafters whom we shall meet along at some of the other fairs set up this year.

Images on Candles

Hi! everyone!

Well as promised I have eventually got round to posting a pic of the candle I did the ohter EARLY morning!! I ahve also made another one this morning in between more Christmas cards & a necklace PHEW!!!! Beds have also been stripped washing on and out on the line. Oh me I do feel worn out! Ha! Ha! Thought I`d give this Challenge a Whirl!!

Well the weekend is almost over again. Been really busy beavering away making christmas cards and some more jewellery. Had a browse over to see wht the challenge was onhttp://thesecretcraftersaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/2010/09/challenge-100.html and decided to tie in one of my cards with the sketch for the challenge.
The recipe for this card
Stamped image Sugar Nellie Miss Claus, sentiment Snow Love Crafter`s Companion, Popcorn Bear Christmas stamp set; Inks Memento and Stazon Black: Promarkers to colour in image. Base card From crafters Companion, Background design paper & vellum Glitter Girls; bling from own stash. DST & Pinflair glue used as adhesive.
Will be back later to show case all my other efforts including a candle which I did at 3am this morning!! Don`t ask!! That`s another story!! LOL!!

I love this image and it comes from http://www2.stampinup.com/gb/eng/. For this I simmply cobered my background using a piece of sponge and ink then stamped the image and sentiment with Stazon ink. To finish the effect I sprayed the image using the Dilver spray from http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/

The theme this week was to produce your own back ground no using designer papers. A very simple one My background was cut from one of my spellbinders using the cuttlebug. My background I stamped using a Hobby Arts stamp snowflakes with Stamping Up Bashful Blue ink pad. The stamped sentiment is also from

Right a million & one things to do. Washing and tumble drier are whizzing round as we speak ( it`s chucking it down here today in the NE Scotland) dishwashers been emptied and refilled. Ron is in the land of nod having been on night duty so of to get some more cards made.

Having real problems downloading these pictures. It`s taken me ages!! Well back again and this time I am entering this one into the sugar bowl challenge with Lillians Sketch.

http://sugarbowlblog.blogspot.com/ For this chaleenge I have used the cheer leader stamp from sugar Nellie and coloured her in using my promarkers and firstly stamped with Memento tuxedo black ink. The numbers are from Jayne Nesterenko`s cute companions sets again stamped in memento ink and cloured with promarkers. to finish off I have covered the numbers in glossy accents. I added a bit of sparkle to the sugar nellie image using a glue pen and glitter dust. Card used was from my card stock from where i can`t rememberPink ribbon and pearls from own stash. The sentiment was cut from a sizzix die using the cttle bug to cut out. Thanks for having a look. PS!! Forgot to say this50th Birthday card is for my baby sis who`ll be 50 on the 26th of this month. Happy Birthday Glynis!!

A few weeks ago we did some beading with Mhairi at the Craft Hoose using seed beads jewellery thread and a jewellery needle. At first I just couldn`t get to grips with this technique unable to tie in threads & managing to cut the wrong side of the beads!! Ha! Ha! Of course they all fell off.

The blue one is called round and round we go. As you can ssee the contrast beads follow a spiral round the core ones. Cant remember what the other one was called but think both have come up nicely as neat little bracelets. Think I`ll be putting these in for sale at the craft fair Jane & I are doing in 2weeks in Banff. Right too much chatting not enough posting. Thanks again for stopping by

For this card I have used the stamp Rainy Days from CC Swalk set. I think she is soo..... adorable!! I coloured her in using my promarkers, used diamond glaze on the puddle umbrella and raindrops to make it look like snow & coloured in the edges of the scalloped edges , done by using my spellbinders on the cuttlebug and on the sentiment ( hobby arts) using Stampin` up ink pad pretty in pinkBase card & silver backing card was from my stock & the patterned cards were printed from Cute Companions Winter Tales. Bling and Ribbon from my stash.
